MeRMaiDS !!!

"I think every little girl's dream is to be a mermaid or to see a mermaid.
[When I was younger] I would go to the beach and cover myself in the sand.
People from different cultures and centuries
have the same idea of what mermaids are ...
so that's maybe a cool thing to think about."
Emma Roberts

“A mermaid found a swimming lad,
Picked him for her own,
Pressed her body to his body,
Laughed; and plunging down
Forgot in cruel happiness
That even lovers drown.”
William Butler Yeats

Thank you to Lisa Kettell of
Faerie Enchantment
for hosting such a wonderful, magical, seaside, mermaid party!

Here is a captured mermaid I made!

Here is a little Mermaid in a bottle my daughter made for me.

This is a wee little mermaid matchbox I made for a swap!

I just adore these mermaid figures!
I own a few but I would LOVE to own all of them!

Someday, I am going to own a small cottage right smack dab on the ocean.
My whole cottage will be filled with mermaids inside and right outside my door!
