I made these using a kit, from The Scrappy Gourmet .

They have WONDERFUL kits!

I made these ornaments from a Joli Paquet kit.

This one was put together by

Melissa McCobb Hubbell ( The Garden Of Pink Shadows) .

The Joli kits are such a delight to put together,

from the packaging they come in,

to the finishing touches is FUN, FUN, FUN!!

I used my Bad Girls Christmas kit from last year.

I'm hoping tonight I can do some more projects.

IT's A HoRsE !!

We bought Kassandra a horse!
It's a painted pony and he is so cute!

We went to Syracuse on Saturday to pick him up.

No problems bringing him home.
We have him stabled at a nearby barn.
Kassandra and I have been going there
everyday to "play" with him.
His name is Sundance.



She's still nervous around him,
hopefully she will get over that soon.
I cant blame her though. I'm scared of horses.
I am getting a little more used to them.
since I have been around the stables this week.
I even got in the stall with him and brushed him out!

Two more for this week!

The first one was done in about half an hour!

It was due on wed at 3:00 pm.

I started it on wed 2:20 pm!

The theme was to use leaves.

The next was scrap something you are thankful for.

I used my new Noel Mignon Mill Street kit.

There is a party going on over at Inspire Me, Websters Pages Ning group!

It's going to be so much fun!

2 A WeeK At WiLLow TRadeRS !!

A new challenge has been posted at
Willow Traders for the month of November!

We need to do two challenges a week.

The challenges have been really neat, so far.

The first one was to make a page and

let someone else do the journaling.

Kassandra did the journaling.

The second challenge was "Celebrate Your Parents or Grandparents"

Mo and Simon with Grandma Patty at Elders Day,

quite a few years ago.

I got the main kit at Bad Girls and two add-ons.

This is going to be my last month with Bad Girls.

I am so glad they did boy friendly add-on kits this month!

I got the Nov kit from Lil Scrappin Mama.

I got the "Wild Boys" kit from Scrap For A Cure.

I am craving....

The Nov kit from Work In Progress

and of course, the add-on

and the Nov kit from Freehand Scraps .

Notice... ALL boy friendly kits,

well except for the first Bad Girls kit, but thats my last one!

Mine was very uneventful.

Me and Peter passsed out candy , Mo took his buddies

and Kassandra out trick or treating.

I did NO decorating this year.

I just wasnt into it and Halloween

is my second favorite holiday.

I have tons of decorations I didnt put up.

No haunted houses, no haunted woods.

I just didnt want to do it this year.

I didnt even take any pictures!

I have come to the conclusion,

that I have way too many shabby chic, girly, vintage kits.

I love these types of kits, because they are so gorgeous.

Problem is I hardly ever use them.

I probably have 30 kits untouched!

I need to quit buying them!

I need to start using the ones that I have.

I need to do more pages for my boys.

I dont think they want shabby chic, girly, vintage pages.

Kassandra has over 100 pages in her book

and Mo and Simon have half that or less.

Peter (my sweetheart) has 6 pages in his book!

I think I may even quit my sub to Bad Girls for awhile,

because I cant stop myself from buying

those beautiful kits and add-ons.

I need to buy more boy (family) friendly kits.

I am holding myself accountable

to use the kits I have and not buying anymore girly-girl kits.

I got more pages done!
